Final 5 Images- Line

5 Best Line Images:

I chose these images as I believe I've captured the different types of lines. In these images I've captured horizontal lines, vertical lines, curved lines, leading lines and diagonal lines. I also believe within this I've captured different emotions of lines.

The image above shows how curved/horizontal lines can create depth as you can see the image appears 3D. I like this image as the horizontal lines show calmness and the slight curve shows a journey thats been embarked. It's interesting how the curved lines are pointing towards the sky, suggesting a journey is about to commence in the sky.

In this image the leaves are softer curves which portray calmness and tranquility. The fact the image is on leafs and the lines portray calmness suggests that nature is peaceful and tranquil.

This image of the shopping trollies portrays order, as the horizontal and vertical mixture of lines are all structured with even spaces between them. This suggests the lines or organised in a military fashion. The horizontal and vertical lines show both calmness and power. As the trolleys are metal this works well with the vertical lines as it shows strength.

The image of the metal grill around the bottom of the tree shows how leading/diagonal lines work, in this image it works subtly as the lines do not go very close together at the end, however we can clearly see they are pointing towards something.

In this image of the tree there's angry, jagged curves which portray negative feelings. The anger of the lines is reflected by their unpredictability as they're random and unpredictable. This is contrasting with the blue sky in the background which looks like a calm ocean.
